Introducing Transit Profiles for Booking Forms
Manage driving criteria for all your booking forms from one central location—no more configuring the same transit settings over and over again.
Why This Matters
If you run multiple booking forms with similar driving requirements, you know the pain: configuring max driving distances, travel time between appointments, and service area limits separately for each form. Change your service radius? Update 10+ booking forms manually. Not anymore.
What You Can Control
- 📍 Max driving from base – How far resources can travel from their home location (15 minutes to 8 hours)
- 🚗 Max driving between events – Travel time limits between consecutive appointments
- ⏰ Max driving outside business hours – Ensure resources can reach first/last appointments and return home on time
- 🗺️ Postal code restrictions – Limit bookings to specific service areas or operable postal codes
Real-World Examples
🏙️ Urban service (30 min max) – Create a profile for city-based services where technicians stay within a tight radius for quick response times.
🌍 Regional coverage (2-3 hours) – Set up a standard profile for most services covering your primary service area.
🚀 Extended service (4+ hours) – Build a profile for specialized services where you're willing to travel further for high-value appointments.
How to Get Started
-
Go to Calendar settings → Transit profiles
-
Click + New transit profile and configure your driving criteria
-
Apply the profile to your booking forms via Location & transport → Select transit profile
The Bottom Line
Stop configuring the same transit settings over and over. Create profiles once, apply them everywhere, and update them centrally when your service area changes. It's configuration management done right.
