You can now register vacation and leave in Hubhus, approve or reject each request, and see who is away at a glance. Absences block the user's calendar automatically, so nobody gets booked while they are off.
Why this matters
Vacation requests often live in emails, spreadsheets and chat threads, while bookings live in Hubhus. When the two drift apart, a customer gets booked with someone who is on vacation, and someone has to call and move the appointment. Counting how many vacation days each person has left is a manual job too.
What you get
How it works
Set it up - choose vacation days per year, your country's holiday calendar and who should be notified about new requests.
Register an absence - pick the user, the type and the period. The absence is created as pending and blocks the calendar right away.
Approve or reject - an admin decides, with an optional note or a required reason. The user is notified by email.
Done - the statistics and the absence calendar show who is away and how many vacation days are left.
Users who aren't admins see only their own absences and can register new ones. You can also register absences from other systems through the Hubhus API.
Where to find it
Open Calendar → Absence. The settings are on the Settings tab.
